I had a dream last night that makes sense. The only reason that anyone is planning on voting for George Bush is because they're Christians and he's a born-again Christian and these people are having stubborn issues with the desire of our founding fathers (all Christians) to separate Church and State.

It's sort of sad, really. Religion often demands blindness, so it should be no surprise. But it's an impressive degree of blindness that embraces such a high level of stupidity.

And I'm not (just) talking about the stupidity of Bush.

We've had three Republican presidents since Roe v Wade and still it stands. Bullets don't seek divine intervention when fired. And trying to change the very basis for a nation because you've decided that some religions really are better than others is just plain dangerous.

If you're planning on voting for Bush this year, you're stupid. There's just no other way to look at it. I wish there were, believe me. I hate calling people stupid. It bothers me. I believe in humanity, despite the obvious objections.

Don't be stupid, idiots.
